Experience the Creative New Show at the Culture Commons Gallery

Be sure to see the incredible art exhibit on display at the Culture Commons Gallery! The newly installed, multifaceted exhibition, entitled St. Anthony’s Lost & Found, aims to commemorate San Antonio’s Tricentennial “through a study of poetry and how it can communicate a personal, social, and historical connection to the land, people, and cultures that make up the city.”

Organized by San Antonio Poet Laureate Jenny Browne, the project nods to San Antonio’s patron saint, St. Anthony, who is also the patron saint of lost causes. Employing multiple forms of expression to “pay tribute to both the known and lost history of our city,” the show is anchored by a collection of 500 poems that residents submitted in postcard format, with a variety of artistic styles used to showcase these contributions.

The exhibition invites visitors to continue the growth of this one-of-a-kind show and contribute their own poems to the mix, making this installation a collaborative and fascinating experience that every San Antonio resident can enjoy! It’s on display now at the Culture Commons Gallery, so make sure you attend this enriching art show.
